Cafecito is not just a hostel – Cafecito feels like home! Chelsea and Lenin are the most welcoming people and make sure you feel great all the time. The whole guesthouse has such a cool surfer vibe, it’s clean, and the beds are super cozy. I also made so much progress during the surf lessons with Lenin, so all in all, Cafecito truly has everything you need for your stay in Santa Teresa. Thank you for everything guys!

What a beautiful guesthouse! The owners Lenin and Chelsea are so kind and welcoming, they make you feel at home immediately. The guesthouse looks amazing, it has a really cozy vibe and there are a lot of nice details. The location is also great, next to the beach and cafes/stores, but it doesn’t feel busy at all. The beds are also really comfortable. I will definitely come back for this amazing stay!

I had such an amazing time! The Hostel doesn‘t feel like a normal hostel but more like a home and a little family. Lenin and Chelsea are super sweet and we became friends immediately. The Cafecito Surfhouse was a true “pura vida” experience. From the moment I arrived Chelsea & Lenin welcomed me with the warm hospitality making me feeling at home. The location is perfect, just steps away from Sta Teresa beach, where u can enjoy magical sunsets and the relaxing sound of the ocean. The vibe is calm and authentic, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the pura vida lifestyle. Everything was very clean and their sweet cat added an extra touch of charm.

Yes, daily! No matter your level you'll be able to get your surfing fix with us during your time in Santa Teresa. Class times are forecasted a few days in advance and exact time is confirmed the day before.
